Obituary
Mr. Harvey Stubbs, 57, of Douglas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 
2021, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA. A graveside funeral will 
be held at 11:00AM on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Johnson Cemetery, 729 
Johnson Cemetery Road, Mauk, GA, with Mr. Donnie Jones officiating. The family 
will receive friends at the cemetery one hour prior to the service. Due to 
Covid-19, face coverings are encouraged and please practice social distancing.

Mr. Stubbs was born May 9, 1963, in Butler, GA, to Clarence Stubbs, Sr. and 
Estelle Burch Stubbs.  He was Baptist by faith and loved fishing, camping, 
dancing, and roller skating.  Mr. Stubbs enjoyed spending time with his family. 
He was a people person and never met a stranger. Before his retirement, he was a 
truck driver with Pam Trucking Company. In addition to his parents, he was 
preceded in death by his wife, Renee Stubbs, by two brothers, Clarence “Randy” 
Stubbs, Jr. and Walter Stubbs; by three sisters, Becky Jones, Mary Stubbs, and 
Linda Sue Palmer and by a brother-in-law, Johnny Nobles.

He is survived by a brother, Glen and Brenda Stubbs; and by four sisters, Julie 
and Donnie Jones, Jan Nobles, Shirley Cobb, and Clara and Robert Weber. Numerous 
nieces and nephews also survive.

Way-Watson Funeral Home, 1052 Dr. Deryl Hart Road, Buena Vista, Georgia has been 
entrusted with these arrangements.
