Glenalta Gleanings

There is a very malignant type of fever in this community now and with the 
colored people it is becoming quite fatal.  Homer Taylor, a young colored man, 
who stood high with the white people of this community died last Saturday 
night, and on the following night in less than 24 hours perhaps his young wife 
died of the same disease.  We also learned that another colored woman died last 
Tuesday and that Will Taylor, a brother of the dead man is very low.
