Bobby Ray Tackett, age 77, of Cusseta, Georgia, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at 
St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, June 13, 2009, at 11:00 AM at 
Fairmont Cemetery, Jacksontown, Ohio with Rev. Mark Dixon officiating.  The 
family received friends at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home, Newark, Ohio, on 
Friday, June 12, 2009.

Mr. Tackett was born February 5, 1932 in Pike County, Kentucky the son of the 
late Johnce and Esta Mullins Tackett.  He had lived in Cusseta for the past 
six years moving here from Newark, Ohio.  He retired from civil service where 
he worked for the Department of Defense and was an army veteran serving in the 
Korean War.

Survivors include his wife Charlotte Morgan Tackett of Cusseta, GA, a son, 
Mark Stevens and his wife Terrie of Cusseta, Georgia; 3 daughters, Kelli Dixon 
& husband Mark of Cusseta, Ga., Robin Lenzi and husband Matt of El Dorado 
Hills, California, Sherry Mullins and husband Bobby of Bolt, West Virginia; 2 
brothers Jackie Tackett of Mansfield, Ohio, Billy Tackett of Dayton, Ohio; 3 
sisters, Shirley Reese of Louisville, Kentucky, Jo Ann Stewart of Pikeville, 
Kentucky, Sue Smallwood of Jasper, Tennessee.  10 Grandchildren and 5 great 
grandchildren also survive.

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista, Georgia was in charge of local arrangements.
