James Noah Teat, 30, of Mauk, GA, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, in Taylor 
County, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at New 
Life Freewill Baptist Church with Reverend Brian Fuller officiating. Burial will 
follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at 
the funeral home on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Mr. Teat was born September 4, 1983, in Columbus, GA, to James Ferlin and Rhonda 
Welch Teat. He was Baptist by faith and attended New Life Freewill Baptist 
Church. He was employed by Taylor County as an Equipment Operator. He enjoyed 
sports, fishing, reading and music, especially playing his guitar. He was 
preceded in death by 2 grandfathers, Larry Welch and J. W. Teat.

He is survived by his parents, Ferlin and Rhonda Teat of Mauk, GA; 2 
Grandmothers, Dolly Welch of Box Springs, GA, and Mozell Teat of Mauk, GA; a 
sister, Anna Teat Rachalla and her husband Chris of Butler, GA; a niece, Natalie 
Rachalla and a nephew, Will Rachalla, both of Butler, GA. Several cousins and 
many friends also survive.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
