Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in the Chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home in Buena Vista, GA, with Rev. James Peugh officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00PM Mr. Teat was born January 8, 1959, in Reynolds, GA, to J. W. and Mozelle Watson Teat. He was employed with Unimin as a maintenance supervisor and Butler Sand as an equipment operator. He served honorably in the United States Army. A loving, caring man, he loved coaching Taylor county baseball and football. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a jack of all trades. Mr. Teat loved nothing more than his family and to cook. He was an avid Florida Gators and Troy Football fan. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his son, James Noah Teat.
