Terry, J. B. was born December 31, 1908, son of George and Willie Mae Terry, 
in Marion County,  GA  Funeral for Mr. Terry of Route 2, Buena Vista, GA, who 
died April 6, 1985 at the Marion Memorial Hospital in Buena Vista, GA was  
held at the Union Hills A.M.E. Church, Reverend John W Bass officiated.  
Burial was in Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  Born in Schley 
County, GA and served as steward and trustee of the Spring Hill A.M.E. 
Church.  Survived by wife Ola Mae, sons Ozie B of Americus, Eddie Lee Terry 
and Lester Terry of Atlanta, daughters Mrs. Bertha Slaton and Mrs. Mozelle 
Maner of Atlanta, Mrs. Earlene Redfield and Mrs. Mary Graham of Sprinfield, 
MA, Mrs. Bernice Haynes and Mrs. Willie Dean Hamilton of Ellaville, GA; two 
sisters, Mrs. Daisy Little, Ellaville and Mrs. Susie Mae Horne of Americus; 
brothers, Roy Terry of Americus and Will Terry of Pompano Beach, FL  28 
grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.  Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel of 
Oglethorpe, Macon County, GA.
