Mildred Daniels Thomas August 18, 1921 - May 15, 2009 HURTSBORO, AL— Mildred 
Daniels Thomas, 87, of 315 Long Street, Hurtsboro, AL died Friday, May 15, 
2009 in Union Springs, AL. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. CST Sunday, 
May 17, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Hurtsboro, AL with Rev. Randy Doster 
officiating. Interment will follow at Hurtsboro City Cemetery, according to 
Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City, AL.  Mrs. Thomas was born August 18, 
1921 in Marion County, GA, daughter of the late Jeffie Daniels and Nellie Rea 
Gill Daniels.  Mrs. Daniels was preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. 
Thomas; three sisters, Lizzie Mae Marshall, Imogene Sutton and Rena Giles; two 
brothers, W.E. Daniels and Billy Daniels; and a granddaughter, Mandy Williams. 
She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Thomas Williams and husband "Tag" of 
Hurtsboro, AL; two sons, Tommy Wayne Thomas and wife, Nancy of Nashville, TN 
and Walter Frank Thomas of Hurtsboro, AL; one sister, Gladys Motley of 
Eufaula, AL; two brothers, Jimmy Daniels and Clyde Daniels, both of Cuthbert, 
GA; three grandchildren, Travis Williams of Atlanta, GA, Josh Williams of 
Hurtsboro, AL and Shannon Thomas of California; many nieces, nephews, extended 
family and friends.
