Charlie "C T" Turner , age 83, Buena Vista, died Friday, March 18, 2011 , at 
ST Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.

A graveside service was held at 2 p m on Monday, March 21, 2011, at County 
Line Baptist Church with Reverend David Chapman and Reverend Brian Fuller 
officiating.

Mr Turner was born May 3, 1927 , in Marion County, GA to Lucius and Effie 
Sinns Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife 
of 60 years, Jackie Welch Turner, a son Bobby Turner, and a sister Delpha 
Bowden.

Survivors include five sons, Earl Turner { Margie} of Box Springs, GA ; Edward 
Turner of Box Springs, GA , Donald { Genene] of Warm Springs, GA. David Turner 
{ Vicky} of Mauk, GA. Harold Turner {Connie} of Buena Vista GA; three 
daughters; Kay Hays [ Jimmy} of Bethlehem, GA. Linda Gail Stubbs { Alfred} of 
Columbus, GA. and Barbara Ann Turner of Buena Vista, GA. one brother, Alvie 
Turner of Oakland, CA. two sisters; Julia Hudson of Box Springs, GA and 
Katherine Hudson of Box Springs, GA. Nineteen grandchildren, sixteen great 
grand children and his beloved dog, Brownie also survive. 

Watson-Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista was in charge of arrangements.
