Tante Funeral Home     June   2007
Robert Rainey Turner, 78, of Buena Vista, Georgia died Monday, June 11, 2007 
at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 13, at 2 p.m. at County Line 
Primitive Baptist Church in Marion County with Reverend A.R. Curlee 
officiating.  Music will be provided by Syble Fuller. The family will receive 
friends at Tante Funeral Home in Buena Vista Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Turner was born May 6, 1929 in Marion County, Georgia to Lucius and Effie 
Sinns Turner.   He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Delpha 
Bowden.  He was a life-long resident of Marion County and a Korean War Veteran 
serving honorably in the United States Army from 1950 to 1954.  Before 
retiring, he was a carpenter by trade.  

He is survived by his two sisters Julia Hudson of Buena Vista and Kathryn 
Hudson of Box Springs, Georgia; by two brothers C.T. Turner of Buena Vista and 
Alva Turner of Pleasant Hill, California; by lots of nieces and nephews; and 
by lots of good friends .

Tante Funeral Home of Buena Vista is in charge of arrangements.
