Jerry Underwood , 51 , of Buena Vista died Saturday , August 16, 2008 at Flint 
River Community Hospital in Montezuma.

Funeral Services were held Monday, August 18, at Oakland Church of God in Mauk 
at noon , with burial following in County Line Cemetery.  Rev.A.R.Curlee , Rev. 
F. M. Henderson and Rev. Richard Roberts officiated and music was provided by 
the Toomey Family . 
Mr Underwood was born 15 June 1957 to John F. and Serether Canter Underwood in 
Marion County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, by three brothers, Roy, Johnny and 
Alfred Underwood and by a sister Maona Underwood.

He is survived by a son, Jeremy Underwood and wife Felicia of Buena Vista. A 
Daughter Chasity Hall And Husband Chris of Baxley, Georgia. Grandson, Jacoh 
Hunter Underwood. Two brothers, Larry Underwood and wife Gail of Bremen, 
Georgia and Elmer Underwood and wife Mary of Colorado Springs, Colorado.  by a 
sister , Dorothy Robinson and husband Jimmy of Carrollton, Georgia. He is 
survived by  the mother of his children , Colleen.
