Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home in Ellaville with Rev. David Chapman officiating. Pallbearers will be Wayne Cromer, Neal Cromer, Leon White, Brad Brock, Harley Lambert and Adam Wiggins. Burial will follow in Ellaville City Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Ms. Cromer was born August 25, 1938 in Ellaville, GA to Charlie and Vera Odom Cromer. She was a member of Concord Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling, fishing, cooking, being outdoors working with her flowers and the farm life. Ms. Cromer treasured the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Alfred Underwood and Larry Davis; one daughter, Sherri Rodriguez; and two brothers, Joseph Cromer and Raymond Cromer. She was survived by two sons, Tony Underwood and his wife, Sue of Ellaville and Steve Underwood of Tazewell; a son-in-law, Jorge Rodriguez of Marietta, GA; a sister, Verna Mae White of Americus, GA; a brother, Gene Cromer and his wife, Linda of Butler, GA; seven grandchildren, Kassi McElroy (Johnathan,) Michelle Wiggins (Adam,) Ashley Lambert (Harley,) Christi Underwood, Alexandra Rodriguez, Katilyn Rodriguez and Nicholas Rodriguez; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation at www.nationalbreastcancer.org in memory of her daughter, Sherri K. Rodriguez.
