Bell received a telegram from Florida stating that Mr. T.L. Wallis, who was formerly in his employ in this city, had been drowned on the 15th and his body had just been recovered. We glean the above information from the Americus Recorder, which will be read with regret by his relatives and friends in Marion County. He was a former resident of this county, his father and mother having died here. Tom was a good boy, a member of the Methodist church and was liked by all who knew him.
