Pineville Happenings

Last Saturday, May 14th, ere the hour hand had reached one, death again visited 
this section and its victim this time was Willie, son of Mrs. W. Wilson.  It is 
indeed sad to part with those we love best; more especially in that case, for 
when he was laid in his narrow home, with a gentle mound raised above him, it 
left her alone to battle with the hardships of life.  Not many days ago, that 
was a happy family of four, but now they are all gone except her.

Do not grieve my dearest mama,
For I’ll ever happy be,
And the day is not far distant,
When your boy again you’ll see.
