For the past three months the deceased had been very ill and her death has been almost hourly expected during that time, it therefore came as no surprise. Mrs. Wiggins passed the greater part of her life among the people here and was greatly beloved because of her splendid Christian character. She was a devout member of the Methodist church and had no doubt of enjoying that peace and happiness promised those who are faithful to the end. The funeral service was held at the Methodist church Monday and the body laid to rest in the cemetery. The deceased had been a widow for a number of years. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Guy and Miss Laura, and one son who is now living at Charleston, S.C. A Card We take this means of thanking our friends and neighbors for their very kind assistance and sympathy in the illness and death of our mother. Sincerely, W.L.
