A Good Woman Dead

Saturday morning last, Mrs. Welch, wife of W.T. Welch, Jr., and daughter of Mr. 
W.A. Guthrie, passed from the cares of earth to the supreme joys of the New 
Jerusalem.  The burial was at Draneville Saturday afternoon.

Her life was short and filled with much suffering which she bore patiently and 
she is now enjoying the reward assured to those who love and serve the Master.

The deceased was 33 years of age, a member of the Baptist church.  She leaves 
one son, a husband, father and mother to who her death brought great sorrow.

Card of Thanks

We want to extend to the good people of Buena Vista our heart-felt thanks for 
kindness shown us during the illness and death of our daughter, Mrs. J.T. 
Welch, and also during the sickness of our grandson, S.B. Smith.
