Homer Jefferson Walls
AUGUST 29, 1937 ~ AUGUST 26, 2018 (AGE 80)

Mr. Homer Jefferson Walls, 80, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 
26, 2018.  Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 
11:00 AM in Tazewell Cemetery. The family will greet friends at Watson-Tante 
Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00PM.

Mr. Walls was born August 29, 1937 in Mauk, GA to the late Ulus Gordon Wall 
and Cleatie Watson Wall.  He was a member of Tazewell Baptist Church.  Mr. 
Walls was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was 
preceded in death by his brothers, Ulus G. Wall, Jr. and Lamar Richard Wall; 
and two sisters, Mary Dell McMillan and Barbara Mines.

Survivors include his children, Jay Walls of Buena Vista, GA and Robin Walls 
Singleton and her husband, Ricky of Buena Vista, GA; four grandchildren, 
Ashlei Brown (Jason), Ben Singleton (Monica), Ivy Oliver (Matt) and Addison 
Walls (Jennifer); five great-grandchildren, Jake Brown, Katie Brown, Jade 
Shropshire, Charles Lane Oliver and Riley Jean Walls; and companion, Mozell 
Teat

Pallbearers will include Addison Walls, Ben Singleton, Jason Brown, Jake 
Brown, Matt Oliver, Tracy Wall, and Jeremy Albritton.  Honorary pallbearers 
will be Joseph Pye, H.G. Pye, Randy Lawhorn, Ferlin Teat, and Barney Teat.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to 
Kindred Hospice in honor of Jimmy Gentry, 100 Brookstone Centre Pkwy, 
Columbus, GA 31904.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
