John Robert Waters, Sr.
Mr. John Robert "Big John" Waters, Sr., 63, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on 
Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Phoebe-Worth Medical Center in Sylvester, GA.

Mr. Waters was born in Warm Springs, GA, on May 25, 1958, to Robert D. and Mary 
A. Waters. Pentecostal by faith, he enjoyed fishing. Mr. Waters had been 
employed as a painter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 
his wife, Vicky Waters and a special aunt, Laura Lee.

He is survived by a son, John Robert Waters, Jr. of Columbus, GA; by a daughter 
Lisa Faye Waters McCormick of Phenix City, AL; by a sister, Barbara Coe of 
Phenix City, AL; two step-children, Adam Headley and Brandy Headley; by six 
grandchildren, Breanna, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Christy, Daniel, and Michael; by 
several great-grandchildren and three nephews.

Way-Watson Funeral Home, 1052 Dr. Deryl Hart Road, Buena Vista, Georgia has been 
entrusted with these arrangements.
