Mrs. Bertha Dell Rutherford Weaver, 95, of Box Springs, GA, passed away 
Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Magnolia Manor of Marion County in Buena Vista, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Brown 
Springs Church of God with Rev. Mark Chandler and Rev. Chris Hess officiating. 
Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.  The family will greet 
friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 15, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00PM.

Mrs. Weaver was born in Juniper, GA, on August 28, 1919, the daughter of William 
Jefferson and Sally Bertha Wyrick Rutherford. She was Methodist by faith. She 
loved the Lord, her family and friends. Mrs. Weaver loved being outdoors and 
gardening and she enjoyed listening to music as well as talking with others. In 
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. 
Weaver, Jr., four sons, William Weaver, Earnest Weaver, Wayne Weaver, and Bubby 
Weaver, three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by four children, Ronald Weaver, Jimmy and Becky Weaver, James 
and Dianne Weaver and Patricia and Avery Ammons, two daughters-in-law, Elsie 
Weaver and Lorene Weaver, 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 16 
great-great-grandchildren.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
