Elizabeth Catherine Wells May 31, 1910- May 1, 2008 COLUMBUS, GA— Elizabeth 
Catherine Wells, 97, formerly of Marion County, GA, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 
at Morningside Assisted Living in Columbus. Funeral services will be held 
Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Buena Vista Cemetery in Buena Vista, GA 
with Reverend Jimmy Ford officiating. Ms. Wells was born May 31, 1910 in Marion 
County to the late Wimbrick B. and Lizzie Lillian Snipes Wells. She had lived 
in Columbus most of her life and was a Charter Member of Wynnton United 
Methodist Church and Bethany Sunday School Class. Survivors include several 
nieces and nephews. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by five 
sisters, Lillian Wells, Hazel Stewart, Lois Moore, Annie Cook and Mae Dawson; 
and by two brothers, James Wells and Parker Wells. Memorial gifts may be made 
to Buena Vista Cemetery, Inc., 137 Harold Harris Rd., Buena Vista, GA 31803.
