William Lester Wiggins
August 2, 1949 ~ October 4, 2015

Mr. William Lester “Lucky” Wiggins, 66, of Buena Vista, passed away on Sunday, 
October 4, 2015 at Midtown Hospice in Columbus, GA.  Funeral services will be 
held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 3:00PM with 
Rev. Daniel Whitt and Rev. Raymond Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris 
Scott, Chris Dudley, Bucky Wiggins, Adam Wiggins, Derek Dickerson and Jerry 
Jones. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 
6:00 – 8:00 PM. 

Mr. Wiggins was born on August 2, 1949 to Jim and Mary Wiggins in Buena Vista, 
GA.  He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.  Mr. Wiggins worked as a 
truck driver until his retirement.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded 
in death by his wife, Lanice Wiggins, a sister-in-law, Mary A. Wiggins and 
parents-in-law, Lozia Moulton and Lewis Moulton. 

Survivors include his five children, Kelli Harris and her husband, Walter of 
Buena Vista, GA, Shelli Bozeman and her husband, Dean of Butler, GA, Heather 
Harper of Americus, GA, Scott Wiggins and his spouse, Jonny McElhaney of Panama 
City, FL and Jamie Hale and his partner, Kelsey of Phenix City, AL; seven 
grandchildren, Cody, Mia & Annie Bell, Lelani, Leila, Breanna and Ciara; two 
brothers, Jimmy Wiggins of Buena Vista, GA and Bobby Wiggins and his wife, Cathy 
of Buena Vista, GA; a sister, Penny Wiggins of Buena Vista, GA; two sisters-in-
law, Elethea Spivey of Butler, GA and Maureen Taunton and her husband, Steve of 
Butler, GA; three brothers-in-law, Linnie Moulton and his wife Charlotte of 
Reynolds, GA, Gary Moulton and his wife, LouAnn of Butler, GA and Eddie Moulton 
and his wife, Cindy of Butler, GA;  and several nieces and nephews.

Watson-Tante Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
