Death of Mr. Wiggins

Mr. A. G. Wiggins, a long time resident of Buena Vista, died at his home here
last Friday afternoon about 4 o’clock, after an illness of several weeks with
fever.  About one week ago he so far recovered as to be up and about the yard,
but he was taken suddenly ill again last Monday and gradually grew worse until
the end came.

His two sons, C. G. and Red Wiggins, were with him when death came.  His only
daughter, Mrs. J. T. Preston, of Baker county, arrived Friday afternoon a few
moments after the angel Death had born away all that was mortal of her father.

His remains were buried at the Baptist cemetery, Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock
with the honors of the Masonic order, of which he was a member, in life.
