Born in Americus, Ga. on Jan. 1, 1920, she was the youngest of three children. Lochlynn was predeceased by her parents Isobel MacDonald Eve and John Lovelace Eve; her husband Harlon Raymond Wiley (Col. - Retired US Army); her brother William MacDonald Eve, sister Lovelace Eve Hair and nephew Jonathan Roswell Hair and her aunt Lucile MacDonald Sloan. Surviving are her daughter Lochlynn Celeste Wiley (Stan Zielinski) of Springfield, IL, and son, William Harlon Wiley (Ruth Roberts Wiley) of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren Jamie Brie Murray (Gary Christopher Murray) of Snow Camp, NC; William Hayes Wiley (Amanda Heart Wiley) of Durham, NC; and Kellay Wiley Chapman (Maurice Harold Chapman); and great-grandchildren Eston Christopher Murray, Adela Marin Murray, and Harlon Jude Murray of Snow Camp, NC; and Julian Hayes Wiley and Jasper Ferrell Wiley of Durham, NC. Also, surviving are sisters-in-law Arlene Freeland and Polly Plumb of Del Mar, CA. and brother-in-law Richard Wiley of Green Valley, AZ; niece Lovelace Eve Hair Kemp (Penny) and David McDonald Hair. Impacted by the Great Depression and World War II, Lochlynn became a Registered Nurse (RN) after graduating from Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in 1950. Lochlynn married Harlon Raymond Wiley (Col. Retired, Deceased) in 1952 at Ft. Sill Oklahoma where Harlon was stationed. Lochlynn enjoyed her sewing and quilting and followed her mother's calling, being a bible study teacher at the Kirk of Kildare Presbyterian Church and later at the Glenaire Retirement Community in Cary, NC Lochlynn had friends from her neighborhood in Cary, NC, the Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church and Glenaire, her home since 2000.
