Arthur was not alone and in the loving caring company of a loved one. Andrew “Joe” Stubbs and Dona A Stubbs raised Arthur after the passing of his mother ILSE E Baumert who was preceded in death by his father Grant T Williams. Arthur was beloved and adopted as a brother to Amanda Mae Stubbs who was his best friend and who counted on each other for everything, Andrew M Stubbs and wife Sandy who taught him how to work and so many life skills, Twila M. Walls whose children (Cristen, TJ) and grandchildren all affectionately called him Uncle Arthur, Tami Garrett and her children who called him Uncle Arthur. After the passing of Joe Stubbs, Arthur has been guided and cared for in every way by Shane Stubbs and his wife Leigh, Shane’s mother Maynell and husband Maurice Hicks . Arthur was especially loved and cared for in Lauderdale, Mississippi where he more recently lived and worked with Shane at Woodie’s Woodworks building sea walls, piers, boat houses and anything wood all while keeping everyone entertained. Arthur was living a happy life and was very proud of his work with Shane and Woodie’s Woodworks. Special friends and family who Arthur adored and loved include Mike Miller, Kevin Harbuck, Jamie Autry, Brother Lowell, Brad Williams, the Michelle and Bruce Hoyt family. Arthurs best friends in the deaf community also include Randy and Cindy Cromer, Scott Russell and Dee Dee Davis, as well as so many people he has met along the way in his Georgia and Mississippi communities. All who knew and loved our Arthur are invited to attend a Graveside Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 2:00PM.
