Mrs. S.T. Wilson Died Saturday

Mrs. Sam Wilson, wife of our respected County Treasurer, died last Saturday at 
6:30 p.m. after a several illness lasting since last February.  Mrs. Wilson was 
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. E. Thornton, of Preston, Ga., who with two 
daughters, Misses Sallie and Minnie and two sons, Messrs. D.B. and Claude 
Thornton, were at the bedside of their daughter and sister in her last moments.

Mrs. Wilson was one of the leading spirits in the W.C.T.U. local work and a 
member of the Methodist church.

She leaves a husband and three small children who have the sympathy of everyone.

Her remains were laid to rest at the Methodist cemetery here Sunday, Rev. 
Stewart, the pastor, officiating in the funeral service at the grave.
