Julia Jones Wooldridge, 97, passed away at Magnolia Manor of Marion County on 
Saturday, November 9, 2013.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM in 
Buena Vista City Cemetery with Pastor Larry Wooldridge and Rev. Chris Hess 
officiating.  The family will receive friends at 319 Oliver St., Buena Vista. 

Mrs. Wooldridge was born November 21, 1915 to the late Benjamin Grady Jones 
and Kathryn Parker Jones in Cataula, GA.  She was a member of Grace Communion 
International Church.  Mrs. Wooldridge worked as a cosmetologist but took 
pride in being a homemaker, and raising her three children.  She was a member 
of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Beautiful View Garden Club. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester 
Lawrence Wooldridge, two brothers, Ben G. Jones, Jr. and Irby Jones and a 
sister, Marguerite Russell. 

Mrs. Wooldridge is survived by a son, Larry Wooldridge and his wife, Connie of 
Meriden, CT; two daughters, Kathryn McKenzie of Cusseta, GA and Judy Smith and 
her husband, Flem of Buena Vista, GA; seven grandchildren, Kelli Smith, Jason 
Smith, Kathryn Mikisits, Laura Gamache, Lester Wooldridge, Julia McKenzie and 
William McKenzie; ten great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; 
and several nieces and nephews.
