Mr. Monroe Passmore, of Garden Valley, and Miss Jessie Mae Bell, of Buena Vista, were quietly married by Rev. T.D. Ellis, pastor of Mulberry Street Church, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Benns, 936 Walnut Street. The bride and bridegroom came into the city on the Southwestern train of the Central of Georgia Railroad, were met by Mr. Benns and hurried to his home where the minister waited to perform the ceremony. The happy couple left on Sunday for Reynolds where they will make their future home.
