The ceremony was performed in historic Pineville, Sunday at 3 p.m. by Judge Emlon Harry Hughes, in an exceedingly short but distinctly impressive manner. They remained seated in their auto, as did the four witnesses. Sweet strains of music floated o’er the afternoon’s stillness, as Judge Andrew’s graphophone softly rendered, “Thoughts of Home.” The Marion County Patriot, No. 46 Friday, November 29, 1907 Page One Sand Hill Miss Willie Cook and Mr. Jim Watts were united in marriage at Pineville last Sunday. Miss Cook is one of Sand Hill’s charming young ladies and loved by all who know her. Misses Clair Hudson and Leon Cook and Messrs. Mack Pierce and Elton Pierce accompanied them to Pineville, where a wedding supper was served.
