Mr. McComb, accompanied by Rev. Hirshburg, left Buena Vista Wednesday on the noon train for Shellman, and the next morning at 10:30 o’clock the ceremony took place at the home of the bride, 4 miles south of Shellman, in the presence of parents, relatives and friends. The bride is the daughter of one of Randolph County’s successful planters, Mr. and Mrs. Greene Gatling, and is a handsome woman, whose friends are numbered by her many acquaintances, and Mr. McComb feels that he has won a jewel in his handsome wife. Mr. McComb returned home Thursday afternoon, accompanied by his bride, and they will be at home to their many friends at all times.
