Thaggard – Martin

Married last Sunday afternoon at Brantley by Rev. W.J. Short, Miss Josie Martin
to Mr. Lowery Thaggard.   There was a touch of romance attached to this wedding.
 Mr. Thaggardhas been out in Mississippi some time, but returned to Marion
County a short time ago.  He and Miss Martin were out riding Sunday afternoon
and decided to have the knot tied.  They drove to Brantley and were married
while sitting in their buggy.
