The announcement of the marriage of Miss Edith McCrary to Mr. A.K. Pickard to 
take place in December was made some days ago.  These worthy young people have 
the best wishes of our citizens.  Miss McCrary is one of Buena Vista’s pretty 
and accomplished young ladies and a favorite in society.  Mr. Pickard is one of 
our successful business young men, and connected with the firm of Pickard & 
Williams.

The marriage of Miss Edith McCrary to Mr. A.K. Pickard took place yesterday 
morning at 11 o’clock, at the home of the bride’s parents, and in presence of 
many relatives and friends.  The happy young couple left on the noon train for 
Jacksonville, Fla., but will return soon and be at home to their many friends.

On Tuesday a linen shower was given the bride at the home of Mrs. E.B. Hornady, 
at which many of Miss Edith’s young lady friends were present.

The Patriot joins a host of friends in extending congratulations.
