The Year 1913 Has Sensational Ending

Marion County Patriot –

A second sensation was the marriage of Miss Nadine Wilson to Mr. Emmitt Jossey, 
both of Buena Vista.  The marriage took place about 10:30 o’clock on the night 
of the 31st., at the courthouse, Judge Noah Butt, who was called from his bed, 
performing the ceremony.

Just after the ceremony was over the bride’s father, Mr. J.L. Wilson, wild-
eyed, armed and furious, creating a panic with the witnesses and the official, 
and took the young bride home.

The young couple had arranged to leave on the Seminole for South Georgia, where 
they will make their future home.
