Last Sunday evening Dr. M.F. McCurdy drove up to a gate and asked a young lady 
to take a ride with him and after being away a short while he proposed a 
marriage, which she consented to, and as the license was already procured, Dr. 
Smith tied the knot.  The young lady was Miss Willie Pickett of Webster County.
