M. Hair, Miss Carrie Buchanan to John M. Hall, in the presence of the family and a few invited friends. The newly married couple and invited friends attended prayer meeting after the ceremony was performed and from there to the home of Mrs. E.W. Lowe where they will reside for the present. Although these young people had been playing the devoted for some time, the marriage was a great surprise to their friends, and no one but a favored few knew anything about the affair until a day or two before hand. The groom is one of our cleverest and most popular young men, in every respect worthy of the prize he has won, and the same can be said of the bride. Indeed both of them are to be congratulated. We cast the proverbial old shoe and wish for the happy couple many years of unadulterated happiness, and that their little barque, which has been launched upon the sea of matrimony, may glide smoothly over its placid waters, unmolested by squalls or tempests.
