Mr. S. Thomas Montgomery and Miss Ellie Halley were married at Tazewell 
yesterday afternoon.  We had not means of getting the particulars of the 
affair, otherwise we would have given them.  They have the best wishes of the 
Patriot.

Since the marriage of Miss Ellie Halley to Mr. Thos. Montgomery was announced 
in last weeks Patriot we will not give the full details of it in full, but are 
glad to say that Mr. Montgomery is a promising young farmer of our county, and 
the son of our representative Hon. Vincent Montgomery.  Mr. Montgomery has won 
for a bride one of the jewels of our county and we extend to the young couple 
our hearty congratulations
