McMichael – Sheppard

At the residence of the bride’s parents, Captain and Mrs. J.A. Sheppard, 
Wednesday afternoon at 5 o’clock, by the Rev. A.L. Moncrief, Mr. Morgan 
McMichael and Miss Minnie Sheppard were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony.  
The affair was conducted in a very quiet manner, only the immediate relatives 
of the contracting parties being present.

Mr. McMichael is one of our most clever and promising young attorneys having 
been admitted to the bar about two years ago and doing a fine practice almost 
from the start.

Miss Minnie Sheppard is one of our most popular young ladies, possessing many 
of those graces which are constituted in the formation of a lovable character, 
and she numbered her friends by the extent of her acquaintances, and not only 
in Buena Vista, but wherever she was known.

A host of friends join the Patriot in congratulations to this happy couple.
