From Tazewell

Miss Mary McCorkle, one of our Mother Eve’s fairest daughters, was led to 
Hymens altar last Sunday evening by Mr. W.S. Perry.  Ceremony was performed by 
Judge J.M. Duke at the residence of the bride’s father, Mr. J.T. McCorkle.  Mr. 
Perry is one of the most promising young farmers of the community.  We tender 
them our congratulations.
