(The following items were sent in one day late by mistake of our correspondent, 
and as regards the marriages the time should be reckoned one week earlier. – Ed)

Near the line of this county and Chattahoochee, at the home of the bride’s 
father, Mr. Henly Moore, Miss Lena Moore and Mr. Willie Walker, son of Dock 
Walker, were married last Sabbath morning.

In the presence of a large company of friends and relatives on last Wednesday 
evening at 3 o’clock at the residence of Mr. Otison, the bride’s father, Miss 
Rebecca Otison and Mr. Leonard Short were happily married, Rev. W.P. Allison 
performed the ceremony.

The bride is popularly known for her amiable bearing, sweet disposition and 
fine domestic qualities.

Mr. Short is to be congratulated on his priceless conquest.
