Martin – Blythe

There was a surprise wedding at Brantley last Sunday in which Mr. John Martin 
and Miss Bettie Blythe were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony.    The 
ceremony was performed by Rev. W.J. Short.  We learn that there were no 
objections to the match, and the young people only wanted to inject a little 
romance into the affair.  The Patriot joins in congratulations and wishes the 
happy couple many years of happiness.
