Fouche, at half past two Wednesday afternoon, Miss Eva Fouche and Mr. J.A. Garrett. Miss Mary Lizzie Fleming was bride’s maid and Mr. Jim Fouche best man. The other attendants were Miss Nan Payne and Mr. Sailor, Miss Maizie Halley and Mr. Oscar Garrett and Miss Bessie Fouche and Mr. Hubert Rogers. Mendelsohn’s “wedding march” was beautifully rendered by Mrs. E.H. McMichael, and during the ceremony which was performed by Elder Riner, “Flower Song” was played in low, thrilling tones. The house was beautifully decorated with holly and bamboo. The bride is one of Tazewell’s most beautiful and accomplished young ladies and Mr. Garrett is very fortunate in winning such a fair bride. The groom is a prosperous young farmer of Taylor County. May they ever be blessed with happiness and prosperity.
