Williams in Buena Vista last Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock, Miss Mae Williams and Mr. Julian T. Bland were joined in the holy estate of matrimony. Elder W.W. Riner performed the ceremony. The wedding was a quiet one, only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties being present. The attendants were Misses Martha Williams, Leah Bland, Georgia Hair, Lula Persons, Marylou Bland and Nettyle Williams. The wedding march was beautifully rendered by Miss Sarah Jefferson. The newly married couple boarded the 4:30 train for Columbus. Atlanta and Birmingham will be included in the bridal tour itinerary. The groom is a prosperous young merchant at Glenalta, where he has been in business some time. The bride is one of the lovely young women, of which Buena Vista is noted. May their married life be as pleasant as a poet’s dream.
