R.B. Taylor performed the ceremony. The happy couple left on the 4 o’clock train for Chattanooga, the home of the groom. Miss Lula Bethune was one of Buena Vista’s most popular young ladies, and had many friends here who regretted to see her leave. Mr. Jones was originally from Chattahoochee County and holds a lucrative position with the Southern Express Company at Chattanooga. Mr. and Mrs. J.T. and J.F. Morgan, Mr. H.R. Harris, Miss Minnie Harris, of Columbus, Mrs. Phil Wind, of Talbotton, Misses King, Jones and Rogers, and Messrs. George and Jim Jones, of Chattahoochee County attended the wedding.
