Nelson were married at the residence of Rev. M. Hair last Thursday afternoon and thereby hangs a tale that has furnished an interesting them for all the young couples friends. The parents of the bride, Rev. and Mrs. Arnold, were opposed to the marriage on account of the youthfulness of their daughter, and did all they could to prevent it, but as was usually the case, their efforts were in vain. On last Thursday Miss Tochie went to the school building to take a music lesson, and while there telephoned friends who arranged a meeting at Mr. Hair’s. After meeting at Rev. Hair’s it was only a few minutes work to bind the couple together for life. Miss Tochie is one of the beauties of Buena Vista and very popular with all society. The groom is considered a good businessman, clever and handsome, who has shown most excellent judgment in the selection of a wife. At present Mr. and Mrs. Jno. Nelson are stopping at the Tharpe Hotel.
