Taylor on Sunday morning June 21st at 9 o’clock when their daughter, Miss Ira was led to the altar by Mr. James Crouch. The spacious parlor of this hospitable home was converted into a verdant bower of loveliness by the harmonious commingling of ferns, holly, bamboo and other green foliage while pretty cut flowers adorned the reception room. Long before the appointed hour the home was thronged with friends and relatives of the happy young couple. The gaiety of the merry crowd was temporarily still by the marching in of the attendants. The attendance were Mr. Rufus Taylor of Macon, Miss Mae Bullock of Buena Vista, Mrs. M.T. Boynton of Elm View and Miss Willie Cannon of Uno. The tableau was completed by the appearance of Rev. R.B. Taylor of Buena Vista, who facing the bride and groom, uttered in a most impressive manner the mystic words that forever united the hearts, lives and fortunes of these two young people. The bride’s dress was a dainty and lovely creation of white Persian lawn with embroideries to match while the bride's maids wore beautiful white organdies with laces and white ribbons. Miss Taylor, the bride, is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Taylor and is one of Elm View’s most charming and popular young ladies. She is known far and wide for her unusual intellectual endowments and her sunny unselfish and lovely disposition which has won for her an innumerable host of friends. Mr. Crouch, the groom is recognized as a rising young businessman whose strict integrity and nobility of character have long been established. The popularity of the happy pair was evinced by the large number of costly presents. They left on the 10 o’clock train for Dawson their future home carrying with them the sincere good wishes of their numberless friends.
