Hogg was solemnized on the evening of the 22nd at the home of the bride. Rev. McGregor performed the ceremony in the presence of the two families. The attendants were Miss Martha Williams, Mr. Jim Hogg, Miss Davis, Mr. Robert Persons, Miss Net-y Williams, Mr. Bill Hogg. Lohengrin’s bridal chorus was rendered by Miss Williams. Miss Persons was a pretty and dainty bride in a gown of light gray voile with quantities of white lace trimmings, her bouquet was of white and pink carnations. Immediately after the ceremony an elegant supper was served. Many handsome presents were received. Miss Persons is one of the prettiest and most popular young women in our county. Mr. Hogg is also a social favorite and a most successful young planter.
