Mr. O.C. Bridges, of Tazewell and Miss Bessie Cromer, of Taylor County, were 
united in marriage on Wednesday of last week.  The ceremony took place at the 
home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. S.A. Cromer, two miles west of Royal, 
Ga., at 7 p.m.  The waiters were Mr. Oliver Paris, of Reynolds with Miss Dora 
Guy, of Schley County, and Mr. John Guy, of Schley, with Miss Lula Cromer, of 
near Royal.  These formed a hollow square; then came the bride leaning on the 
arm of the groom, stopping just at the end of the square formed, where in a 
very impressive manner they were made man and wife; Rev. A.J. Parker 
officiating.  

The guests present were Mr. and Mrs. E.P. Jones, of LaGrange, Mr. Oliver Paris, 
of Reynolds, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Guy, Miss Dora Guy, Messrs. Homer and John Guy, 
Mrs. Z.C. Aldridge and Willie, Belle, Wesley, Scoff and Victor Parker, of near 
Royal.

Miss Cromer is admired for her beauty and gentleness in disposition, while Mr. 
Bridges is a young man possessing that self-reliance which insures success in 
any walk of life.

After the ceremony guests were ushered into the spacious dining room, where was 
spread a bountiful supper fit for a king.

The happy young couple left Thursday morning for Tazewell, where they are at 
home to their many friends.  The writer joins many friends in extending 
congratulations.
