Johnson deceased, died without any will, as far as I know or believe, and that I will well and truly administer on all and singular, the goods and chattels, rights and credits of the said deceased, and pay all his just debts, as far as the same will extend, and the law requires me--so help me God. C." {NOTE: This is referring to George Washington JOHNSON, born 1820 in Warren Co, GA, who had lived in Marion and Schley County from about 1845 to his death. Wife was Elizabeth Hart. He is shown on the tax digest as living in District 946, Nubbin Hill from 1846-1856 in Marion Co and then appears on 1860 &70 Schley Co Census, but is back on the 1880 Marion Co Census.} Submitted by Linda Johnson,
