I Green B. Watson, of said State and County being of advanced age and knowing that I must shortly die, do make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me. Item 1st I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner suitable to my circumstances and condition in life, my soul, I trust shall return to rest with God. Item 2d I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Maria Watson, all my property and affects, both real and personal so long as she remains a widow to use or dispose of as she may see fit and prosper with the advice of my Executors hereinafter to be named. I tem3d In the event my beloved wife Maria should either marry or die, it is my will that my Executors, towit; Cade Jones and W.D. Smith shall take charge of my Estate and keep the whole of my property together until my youngest child shall become of age or marry then the same to be equally divided among my children share and share alike. Item 4t I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife, Maria Watson and my worthy friends Cade Jones and W.D. Smith Executors of this my last Will and Testament this 1876. Watson as his last Will and Testament in the presence of the subscribers who subscribed and names hereto in the presence of the Testator at his special instance and request, and of each other. Watson do certify that the name of Henry Bradshaw as Executor by my request was marked out and the name of W.D. Smith inserted in its sted this 19th of March 1877. Green B. Watson (his mark) L.S. Georgia Marion County Court of Ordinary Term 1877 At this term of the Court a paper purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Green B. Watson of said County, decd. was offered for probate in common form of law, and it appearing upon the testimony of John Perkins one of the subscribing witnesses thereto that said Green B. Watson dec'd. sign, seal, publish and declare the same to be same to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of said witness and the other witnesses towit; B.S. Johnson, G. W. Wall and N.C. Wall; and that said witness together with the other witnesses did sign the same in the presence of said Green B. Watson and of each other at the request of said dec'd and that said dec'd was of sound and disposing mind and memory at the time of the execution thereof; and that said paper was signed in the summer of 1876. And it further appearing upon the testimony of Mary A. Smith that said dec'd did sign in her presence and in the presence of Harriett Singleton the Codicil and Certificate to said Will. Wherefore it is ordered that said paper be declared to be the last Will and Testament of said Green B. Watson, dec'd. F.M.
