All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: angela covington aangel4ken@alltel.net November 27, 2006, 8:05 am Source: Webster County Will Book Written: January 29, 1921 Georgia Webster County I Bill Williams of said State and County, being unwell in body but sound and disposing mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament. 1st I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christianlike manner, suitable in my circumstances and condition in life. 2nd I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without ? delay, by my executor hereinafter named and appointed. 3rd I give bequeath and desire to my wife the 105 acres of land upon which my home house is situated together with enough land just north of said 105 acres so that she can get water for stock and other purposes. One mule name Leal our milk cow and calf, four or five hogs to be selected by her. The above described propery I five to her for and during her natural life and after her death to be equally divided between my children hereinafter named. I also give to her all money that I may have on hand at time of my death if any. I also desire and request that my said wife to take, rear and care for the little boy Billie Williams who I have taken to rear. 4th To my son Bently Williams, I give and bequeath 85 acres of land more or less that i have heretofor promised to give to him the same being the lands bought by me from Berry Williams. 5th To my daughter Katie Crawford I give and bequeath one mule name John 6th To all my children, Katie Crawford, Hiram Williams, Lucy Dykes, John Williams, Bently Williams, Matilda Mathis, Ed Williams, Maggie Lee Walker, and Charlie F Williams share and share alike. I give and bequeath all my other property of all kinds that I may die seized and possessed whether realty, personally or ? in action. It is my wish and desire if possible that my said children divide my property in kind if the same can be done to their satisfaction but of they are unable to agree to a division in kind then I desire and direct that all my said property be sold and the proceeds divided equally between my said children. 7th I hereby direct that should I depart this life during the present year, that then my businesses shall continue as I now have same going and I further authorized by executor to sell any cows hogs & c. not otherwise disposed of herein for the purpose of completing the crops on the farm. 8th I hereby constitute and appoint my son Bently Williams my executor to this my last will and testament to carry out the same in accordance with my other wishes expressed. 9th I also direct that my executor collect all accounts owing to me by any or all of my said children so that my entire estate can be divided equally as above directed.
