Ansley, Deceased State of Georgia Marion County In the name of God Amen: - I, Wm. A. Ansley of said State and County being of a sound mind and of advanced age and knowing that I must shortly depart this life deem it right and proper both as respects my family and myself that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me do therefore make this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all others heretofore made by me. Item 1st I desire that my body be buried in a decent and Christianlike manner suitable to my circumstances and condition in life, my soul I trust shall return to rest with God who gave it. Item 2nd I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay be executors hereinafter appointed as I am unwilling my creditors should be delayed in their rights especially as there is no necessity for delay. Item 3rd I give bequeath and devise to my beloved wife Nancy E. Ansley the following property to-wit: Ten acres more or less off of lot No. Two Thirty One (231) and eighty-eight acres off of lot of land No. Two Thirty Two more or less the southern boundary of said Eight-eight acres to run east and west with public road going in the direction of the W.M. Thaggard land. Also seventy acres off of lot of land No. Two Fifty more or less all of said land lying in Fifth District of land No. Two Fifty more or less all of said land lying in Fifth District of said County. Also all of my property everly (evenly?) consisting of all my mules, hogs, cows and household and kitchen furniture and all of my vehicles consisting of buggy and wagon and farming implements and farm supplies that I may own at my death. Item 4th I desire and order that in the event the said Nancy E. Ansley should die before the death or marriage of my single daughter Almer R. Ansley, that all the property mentioned in this will shall be held and owned by the said Almer R. Ansley until her marriage or death and at her marriage or death all of said property is to be equally divided between my lawful heirs. I also desire and order that any property that I may own at my death not named in this will shall be equally divided between my lawful heirs. Item 5th I hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife Nancy E. Ansley and my beloved son W.B. Ansley Executors of this my last Will and Testament. This the 27th of July 1901 W.A. Ansley Signed sealed and published by Wm. A. Ansley as his last Will and Testament in the presence of we the subscribers who subscribe our names hereto in the presence of said Testator at his instance and request and each of us after he is signing in our presence and we signing in his presence. Edge saw the within named W.A. Ansley sign and publish the within attached paper as his last Will and Testament; that we subscribed the same as witnesses thereto at the special instance and request of the said W.A. Ansley and in his presence as did also in the presence of the testator and of each other & testator signed in our presence that the said W.A. Ansley signed the same freely and voluntarily and was at the time of such signing of sound and disposing mind and memory. E.B.
