This cemetery is next to the "Reeves School House," a restored historical site. This cemetery was surveyed by Michele Lewis http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00027.html#0006732 on 28 Mar 2003. R.R. Reeves 17 Jan 1840 - 16 May 1919 Elby S. Reeves 29 May 1843 - 18 Feb 1822 Emma Jean infant dau of Alec and Emma Reeves Dec 1919 (only date) The above three graves are south of the school. These graves are in a fenced enclosure. At the school, on the south side, is a memorial marker with the following information: John and Sarah Reeves parents of Spencer, John and Thomas John, and sons Spencer and John, were soldiers in the Rev. War. Spencer, father of S. Green, Charles and Thomas received a 100 acre land grant on 03 Jul 1786 on Briar Creek near this location where he is buried. S. Green Reeves and Elizabeth Washington were parents of Billy, Bobby, Charles, James, Jane, Johnny, Julia, Marcus, Mary, Randall, Sarah, Shephen and Walter.
